Safety policy
All aspects of health and safety are adhered to, as required by the Health and Safety Executive, and the MCA. We endeavour to provide and maintain a positive and productive work place, as required under the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974 (HASAWA) and associated relevant statutory provisions including the Docks Regulations 1988.

Crewing and Manning Policy for Midjord Offshore.
The vessels at Midjord Offshore are always manned and adhere to any National and International policies and requirements, as well as all necessary classification societies.

Environmental Protection Policy
At Midjord Offshore all operations, vessel repairs and maintenance are carried out in such a way that all necessary precautions are taken to ensure minimal impact and pollution within the environment. Where possible we try to ensure minimal use of paper, packing, electricity and fuel.

Maintenance Policy
At Midjord Offshore all equipment is regularly maintained, and in doing so adheres to all standards and requirements which are set by all Local, National and International Authorities, Manufacturers and Suppliers. Throughout all maintenance work onboard we strive to be as environmentally friendly as possible

Cargo & Crew Transport Policy
At Midjord Offshore any passengers or cargo in transit are carried out in a safe and conscientious manner at all times, to all required destinations. Excellend seamanship is conducted at all times.

Working Environmental Policy.
The policy at Midjord Offshore surrounding policies and procedures in the event of an unforeseen unsafe act or personal injury are explained in the briefing before boarding the vessel.

Also outlined are the strict policies surounding drug and alcohol abuse before and aboard our vessels, where Midjord Offshore will not tolerate anybody in breach of this and will be removed immediately from their position and the appropriate authorities notified. Under the Management of Health & Safety at Work Regulations 1999, outlined is the fact, it is now illegal to smoke in a workplace, so it is the policy of Midjord Offshore that smoking is not permitted onshore or offshore within the company, unless designated elsewhere. We have strict guidelines to follow onboard with regards to Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and must be adhered to at all times as required by the HSE.
